Many students start with me at IGCSE and stay through AS and A2. I know where they lose marks and plan revision around it.
Practice papers I've written
Hundreds of worksheets and practice papers for IGCSE, AS and A Level. For the new non-calculator paper, I've written seven full practice exams.
Help with past papers
Stuck on a past-paper question? Students send me a photo on WhatsApp and I usually reply with a worked solution the same day.
Marks for method
Cambridge awards marks for working, not just answers. I show students how to set out solutions so they pick up every mark available.
How it works
Free 30-minute intro on Zoom. Bring a past paper or a topic you're stuck on and we'll start there. Parents are welcome but don't need to attend.
Weekly one-hour sessions. We work on a shared whiteboard, and students keep the notes from every session.
Reschedule online. Move a session through your booking link when something comes up, with 24 hours' notice.
WhatsApp between sessions for questions that can't wait a week.
First session free, then $97 an hour. No minimum number of sessions. If you want a regular weekly time held for you, a one-term commitment secures it.

I've been tutoring maths for over 20 years, working one-on-one with students from Year 7 through to university.
I teach NCEA, Cambridge and IB, as well as first- and second-year university maths. Most students come to me for one exam and stay for three years or more. By then I know how they think, where they usually slip up, and what's coming next for them, so we can deal with problems before they show up in a test.
I've also written hundreds of my own worksheets and practice papers. If a student needs another twenty questions on trig the night before a test, I usually have them ready, and they can message me on WhatsApp if they get stuck.
I've tutored Cambridge maths from IGCSE through to A Level, and I know the papers well enough to show students where marks are usually lost.

Frequently Asked Questions
It's a big step up in both breadth and depth. Students who start AS working hard from day one cope well. Those who fall behind find it very hard to catch up while keeping up with new topics.
Yes. Cambridge covers significantly more material in a shorter timeframe, with final exams often falling in the first week of term 4. Cambridge also assesses students across topics compared to NCEA's discrete standards approach.
Past papers are essential, but they're not enough on their own. They need to be combined with strategic study that targets specific weaknesses. Relying solely on past papers will leave gaps, particularly with newly introduced topics such as coordinate geometry of the circle in AS Pure.
For students performing strongly in A Level Mathematics who are aiming for competitive engineering or mathematics programmes at top universities, Further Mathematics is highly recommended. For other students, the time is often better spent strengthening their Mathematics grade.
